Beginners Lino print workshop.
Date: Thursday 28th May Time: 6.30pm - 8.30pm Location: Tribe Porty, 19 Windsor Place, Portobello, Edinburgh, EH15 2AJ
In this 2 hour session, we will cover the basics of lino printing and explore the techniques and tools available. In the workshop we will cover:
creating and transferring a design
carving the lino
ink transfer
printing and pressing your design
The session is designed to be relaxed, friendly and informal and you will leave with a lino block of your creation and the skills to explore the craft further on your own.
Tea and biscuits will be provided.
